ipopt
Interior-Point Optimizer for large-scale nonlinear optimization
Ipopt is a solver for large-scale nonlinear continuous optimization. It can be used from modeling environments, such as AMPL, GAMS, or Matlab, and it is also available as a callable library with interfaces to C++, C, and Fortran. Ipopt uses an interior point method, together with a filter linear search procedure. Ipopt is part of the larger COIN-OR initiative (Computational Infrastructure for Operations Research).

Versions & arches
Use flags of 3.14.4-r1
- +asl AMPL Solver Library support and build the 'ipopt' binary
- +lapack Add support for the virtual/lapack numerical library
- mpi Add MPI (Message Passing Interface) layer to the apps that support it
- mumps Enable sci-libs/mumps support
- static-libs Build static versions of dynamic libraries as well
- test Enable dependencies and/or preparations necessary to run tests (usually controlled by FEATURES=test but can be toggled independently)
- doc Add extra documentation (API, Javadoc, etc). It is recommended to enable per package instead of globally
