A Free Telnet/SSH Client
PuTTY is a free implementation of Telnet and SSH for Windows and Unix platforms, along with an xterm terminal emulator. It supports flexible terminal setup, mid-session reconfiguration using Ctrl-rightclick, multiple X11 authentication protocols, and various other interesting things not provided by ssh in an xterm.

Use flags of 0.84
- debug Enable extra debug codepaths, like asserts and extra output. If you want to get meaningful backtraces see https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Project:Quality_Assurance/Backtraces
- doc Add extra documentation (API, Javadoc, etc). It is recommended to enable per package instead of globally
- +gtk Build the PuTTY client which requires x11-libs/gtk+. If disabled only the CLI tools puttygen, plink, pscp and psftp will be built
- gssapi Enable support for GSSAPI (virtual/krb5)
- verify-sig Verify upstream signatures on distfiles
